Working Principle: When the mixing drum rotates, the blades on the inner wall lift the material to a certain height, and the material falls freely under its own weight. Mixing is achieved through kinetic energy exchange.
Applicable Scenarios: Simple structure, mainly used for mixing plastic and semi-plastic concrete; not suitable for dry-hard concrete.
Common Forms: Including drum type, conical reverse discharge type, conical tilting discharge type, etc.
Forced Mixer
Working Principle: The mixing drum is fixed and does not move. The blades on the rotating shaft inside the drum perform forced shearing, extrusion, and flipping of the material, resulting in strong mixing action.
Applicable Scenarios: Good mixing quality and high efficiency, suitable for dry-hard concrete, lightweight aggregate concrete, and high-strength concrete.
Subtypes
Vertical Shaft Spiral Type: The shaft is vertical, compact structure, good sealing.
Vertical Shaft Planetary Type: The blades rotate on their own axis while orbiting, short mixing time, high homogeneity, commonly used in mixing plants.
Single Horizontal Shaft Type: Horizontal single-shaft design, forming a combined convection-shearing movement.
Double Horizontal Shaft Type: Two parallel shafts rotate in opposite directions, high mixing efficiency, suitable for large precast components and mass production.
